On November 6th, 2019, attorney Shaun Wiedrick was invited to speak in front of members of the Women’s Club of Lost Lake, hosted by Kate Hudson and Elizabeth Galligan. Kate Hudson is a Senior Real Estate Specialist with the Kate Hudson Group – Keller Williams Treasure Coast. She and her husband, Charles Hudson, are highly experienced realtors on Lost Lake and nearby developments, as well as other Treasure Coast real estate. Kate Hudson is distinctly equipped to handle seniors’ real estate needs – whether they’re downsizing to a smaller home, upsizing to a larger home to accommodate an elderly parent, or rightsizing to a retirement home.
Shaun covered a range of topics: from the importance of having your estate plan in order with last wills and testaments and living trusts, to the issues with folks having older, out-of-state documents even though they have become legal Florida residents, to protecting liquid assets and real property from the probate court system and the IRS, to long-term disability planning, including Medicaid planning.
It was a very interactive meeting where Shaun was able answer a lot of good questions coming from the ladies, as well as for all to enjoy Kate and Charles Hudson’s and Elizabeth Galligan’s hospitality.
